Pleasant for holiday purposes.

I was in Adelaide on business in November for 15 days. Initially I had booked another hotel but was very disappointed and therefore had to quickly find other accommodation.
Although Mick O'Shea's was located in a nice area and the room was very clean it didn't really offer much for the price.
It also has the hotel/ bistro very close to the rooms and at least 2 to 3 nights of my stay there was lots going on, it was very noisy and music blaring. Very hard to fall asleep. I also had the misfortune of having the air-conditioning leak water from the inside due to blockage.
The staff and management were very good though and made sure this problem was fixed quickly. I was also offered to take the opposite room if I wanted.
I would recommend it if you're in Adelaide on holidays but not on business.

Bathroom floor tiles need a good scrub. Grout was really unsightly. Maybe the cleaner could be given extra time once a month for a proper clean.Room was spacious, furnishings were old,& marked. Baldly needs a paint & freshen up. Reception was excellent friendly helpful staff member checked us in. Didn't use dinning services so cant comment. Was quiet 😀

Family friendly, great food and exceptional service.

We visited here on our holiday to SA. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food delicious. The gin cured salmon and S&P Calamari absolutely outstanding. Extensive wine list championing local wines. We will definitely be back!!

GOOD GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS, GENEROUS SERVES

Generous meal serves, delicious food, especially the karange chicken gluten free. There was a good range of gluten free options. (Would like it if they included a gluten free curry and made the sticky date pudding gluten free too). Service was fast and the Crows beating Carlton 100 to 98 topped the night off beautifully! My men were all glad the game was on at Micks!

Average dinner with friends

A very average experience at our recent dinner with friends. When we arrived the waitress did know not where our table was then sat us on a very small table despite there being plenty of other larger tables anvailable elsewhere in the restaurant. The Italian Schnitzel was disappointing. The salami was very dry and did not have enough cheese over the top. The only highlight of the evening was the Irish band who provided lovely background music throughout the dinner.
