Gumtree getaway

Amazing stay, surrounded by wildlife, cabins were spread out with lots of space, peaceful, was lovely and clean with a big fenced verandah , short crawl to the beach, lovely reception lady, even got a late checkout (at 2pm) with no charge. It was wonderful and my dog and I can't wait to come back!!!!

Old, tired and a super let down! Go else where.

What a shame would have loved to write a glowing review but this place is in dire need of renovations. The location is sensation with the most amazing beach right at your door step however the park was a let down. The bathrooms are disgraceful, you pay 30c for a 3 minute shower and then most of the time the coin machine in the showers was jammed or the hot water was not working. The grout looked like it had never been cleaned, the toilets hardly flushed and it was constantly filthy. When they did come to clean it would be at 8am when everyone would be trying to go shower. The gardens around the park are nice with lots of large grassed areas but powered sites are super small with many crammed between residents annexes. Many would be challenging to park caravan in. The pool area was okay, pool is old, cold and needs a Reno. If you can get passed the old facilities and just want a great location then go for it, otherwise there are much better places to stay for the price.

Beautiful sunrise

The bed was nice and firm. The kitchen had a great amount of utensils and pots and pans.
The bathroom was a little shabby.
It was wonderful we could stay with our dog.
The pool was nice but had some algae on the bottom of the pool… I suspect due to the abundance of birds in the area.
The birds were fantastic and the sunrise on one of our sunny days was spectacular.

A weekend of doggy fun

Had a great weekend away with the whole family, dogs included. Our 2brm cabin was spacious and clean, and beach access right from the park! While it's not an off-lead beach it was good fun for the kids to swim and the dogs were fine on long leads. Hope we can come back again, I'd return in a heartbeat! A beautiful bush location with plenty of wildlife :)

Overpriced for very basic facilities. No camp kitchen, limited water supply. Great beach, poor owners.

Been going here for over 33yrs. Tried it all, cabins,tent, owner of an on site cabin & now as caravanners. Nothing has changed, only the owners. Continually over charging for no power, no water hook-up & no camp kitchen. Most expensive camping fees we have encountered around the country, given the basic facilities. Successive owners have been happy to take in customers' money (including $6000+ pa for onsite cabin lessees) and have put precisely one poofteenth of bugger all back into facilities for campers or onsite lessees. They are quite simply abusing what Mother Nature gifted them. Have a good look at yourselves, owners.
