A good compromise

Hotel located in a great location, very close to the center. On foot you can safely get around the city.
Simple but nice room, even in this hotel being a 5 star at least the shower taps should be changed or at least cleaned of limestone.
Breakfast instead I did not really like, little choice and low quality food ..

Time passed and they didn't realize

Although its staff are very friendly and attentive, the hotel says it is 5☆, but does not mention that they are shooting stars, as it deserves a maximum of 3☆.
It is visibly worn out by time, asking for modernization, starting with the removal of the horrible brown flowery carpet that covers the floors of the rooms! Breakfast is limited to the basics, perhaps due to the lack of guests. I was there twice: the first time they gave me a small, cramped room. The second time was better: the room was spacious and had two beds.
But it is well located and you can walk to some of the main attractions, such as the Casa da Moeda and the Convent Museum.

CORRECT

To begin with, it must be explained that Potosí is a somewhat chaotic town both due to the volume of people and the narrowness of its streets and the amount of traffic, so the inconveniences and pressure due to altitude begin before arriving at the hotel. The first thing that surprised me is that the main door can be closed with a metal shutter. I have seen it in any business but never in a hotel. Otherwise it is a hotel that, of course, is not of the category it indicates, but it is in Potosí and what there is is what there is. The spacious room, with heating that did not work and they placed an external radiator that served its purpose and the bed was spacious and comfortable. Despite the size, there was almost no room to open two suitcases. It has a large refrigerator. The correct lunch, dinner and breakfast buffet.

This hotel sucks. Absolutely not worth the money and it’s not a 5 star hotel.

Save your money and go somewhere else. This hotel is far from being 5 stars. Pool is not working and they still want you to pay full price. Dirty bathroom carpet, dirty, all in patches. You’re going to pay less money in a hotel that is just the same as this one around this area in the center of Potosi.
