Amazing stay!
I’ve had an amazing stay at Maun Lodge. The food was incredible, with the daily live music. The staff is excellent and super friendly. I am looking forward to stay here again in the future.
Rooms were very clean and loved the decoration that they made on the beds! Adds a touch to it

Good local hotel
I was on a personal trip to Botswana. I arrived in Maun from Johannesburg but my checked luggage did not arrive. The airline then confirmed the bag would arrive the next day. I had not intended to stay in Maun but due to the missing bag i decided to stay till the next day to pick up May luggage personally.
I asked a friend for a hotel recommendation to which he responded “lets try the Maun Lodge”
We drove over, 15-20 minutes from the airport. Walked in and asked at the reception if they had a room available for the night. The ladies were very courteous and professional. They responded “yes” they had rooms of different styles and they recommended i try the “chalets” which were in the range of $88.00 USD/night. I accepted their recommendation and was pleased with the stay.

I did not have an adapter for the electric socket, the reception loaned me one for the night
Efficient check in and check out
Chalet although basic was very comfortable - TV/ beds with mosquito nets/ good lighting/room and bathroom were clean
Chalet also had a small front porch with chair
Restaurant and bar - pleasant/efficient staff, food was basic but good and served in a timely manner
Gym - small but well equipped and clean

Maun Lodge One-Night Business stay
We arrived in the early evening for a brief workshop with 20 participants that evening, and one night accommodation. We had great service right from the airport shuttle, to the reception and restaurant staff. Our participants can be a handful of a community, and the staff at Maun Lodge were patient and efficient with all of us. Highly recommend.
