Good base for city and transport links
The room was clean and comfortable, housekeepers cleaned the room each day. There was a small gym and a spa area on the top floor which was nice to have available.
Our booking confirmation stated the room had a fridge however it did not, the area for the fridge was there but empty. We were looking forward to buying normal milk to make tea but were not able to. We enquired at reception about the fridge but they said it wasn’t on our booking but it clearly was. My mum has fortnightly injections that have to be kept in a fridge, luckily they were not due during our trip but I would advise anyone who expects a fridge in their room that needs it for medication to contact the hotel before arriving to ensure they have the fridge, even if it is confirmed on the booking it isn’t guaranteed there will be one.
We booked breakfast for one morning during our stay, it was expensive at €27 each, the breakfast was nice though with a good selection. Drinks were also expensive with a small bottle of water over €3 but there is a supermarket a short walk away
The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if visiting Hamburg.

The breakfast is good but not worth the high price.
We were disappointed for the missing recycling!

Additionally, basic amenities like bottled water were not provided in the room, which is surprising given the price point and standard one would expect. Also lot of sounds as some work going on.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the service and guest experience.
