The next overnight stay in the Leverkusen area will be here again
We were greeted very warmly in the 3-star hotel, quickly signed the registration form and were given some helpful information. Our quiet room on the 3rd floor was small, comfortably furnished (the spring box bed enabled a restful sleep) and very clean. The bathroom (here a small green rubber duck awaits the guest in the shower...) was also small and clean and did its job perfectly.
The breakfast buffet, Sundays until 11:00 a.m.!!!, was also impressive, fresh rolls, delicious country bread, as well as various types of sausage and cheese, as well as jams and egg dishes on request, everything was top notch.
In a nice small talk with the owner we also learned something about the unusual name and the history of the small hotel.
The Hotel Sechzehn is conveniently located not far from Leverkusen-Opladen train station, and there are several pubs and kebab shops in the immediate vicinity. Parking spaces are available for €8.00 per night; we were lucky enough to find a free parking space just around the corner.
We found the price of €115.00 per night including breakfast to be more than fair on the carnival weekend and at the Bayer04 home game.

Family visit
A decent-size and clean room.
No air con but fan supplied.
Lovely continental breakfast.
Only slight fault was patchy Wi-fi occasionally.
We even got to meet Sunny, the friendliest security dog!
