Would Stay Here Again

After weeks of sleeping in hostels of 16 plus strangers, it was nice to have a room to myself. Very clean and updated. Short drive to the airport and walking distance to everything in town. Added bonus, I had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the mountains out my window!

A no frills place

This is a 10 minute drive by taxi from the Nuuk Airport. Costs DKK 130-150.
I believe there are about 8 private rooms. There was no private toilet for my room, but one outside on the corridor.TV, fridge in the room.
There is a common area like a pantry, with a microwave and other utensils. No food here though.
The ongoing construction does spoil the surroundings it a bit.
One can do a leisurely 20 minute walk to the Nuuk Cathedral, Hans Egde Statue and Nuuk National Museum which are located close to each other by the harbour. Can take beautiful pictures from the main road of these attractions from a distance.
There are restaurants inside the Nuuk Centre which is close to the Cathedral.

dejlig overnatning og skøn beliggenhed

På Vandrehus 2 finder du et hjælpsomt og flinkt personale. Et trygt og godt sted at bo -tæt på byen og bussen.Dog kræver trappen en vis mobilitet.
Fine udsigt . Kan kun anbefales . Så vandrehus 2, hvis du mangler et godt sted at bo -
i Nuuk.

Godt til prisen (Efter Grønlandske forhold)

Vi fik anvist værelser i Vandrehuset 3. Til vores held var der kun 1 anden gæst i huset da vi ankom. Vi var 4 stk. og vi havde de 2 dobbeltværelser. Der var også et rum med plads til 4 men der boede som sagt kun 1. Sengene var udemærkede og der var dejligt varmt i huset. Beliggenheden er god med kun 5 minutter til fods til centrum. Og det er uanset hvilket 1 af de 3 huse som man bor i. WIFI'en fungerede som det skulle.
