PERFECT VILLA FOR FAMILY & GROUP STAY

It is not a hotel, it is a villa with excellent hospitality and beautiful surroundings. You will find lawn, bonfire area, playing zone, common area to enjoy the wonderful surrounding of snow capped mountains with your group/family. View from rooms are spellbinding. We didn't face any issues of cleanliness and hot water supply. They have a very loyal and polite caretaker who will help you with all your requirements. They take time to prepare food but it tastes homely. My family enjoyed to the core during our long stay of 5 days. Bhuntar is a small place and you definitely need a home like place to spend good time. Do not expect hotel like formal hospitality and you will love the place and family hosting the property.

Pathetic place to stay especially with family it’s only a banquet hall with some rooms

While going back from manali to Chandigarh I got delayed and it was my misfortune that I opted this place for night stay from booking.com during Sep 19. It was all bad, room without AC and full of mosquitoes. They don’t have even mosquito repellent for rooms and no mood to purchase too, as I was travelling with kids I purchased at my own and used. Caretaker Mr. Vijay is not in a mood to give food or any basic amenities in room. Toilet comord overflowing with water in storage tank. Food will only be offered in restaurant which is an open space full of mosquitoes and he will definitely argue and need to be convinced by you as to why u need food in room .The place is best for banquet hall nd marriage functions. I’ll personally recommend booking.com to remove this place from hotel booking list. It gives very wrong impression that it is a hotel and stay can be made. Please don’t choose if u are with family especially.

Good on a sunny day but worst on a rainy one.

So as the title suggests, it's a good place to be if you're here on a sunny normal day because of it's location and open lawn area but it will turn out as a worst place to be if you come on a rainy day as the land is yet not consolidated properly and it all becomes muddy. I believe they will resolve that soon though. Architecturally there is not much to talk about here as it's just a normal concrete building. Restaurant area is quite small. But the good point is it's location and parking space.

A beautiful Stay

I just stayed here for 1 day but the stay was really was an awesome one the rooms are so beautifully made and the views are even awesome.
The have different types of rooms to offer but the view from each and every room is awesome.
The food from from the restaurant was also really awesome.
You would definitely love staying at this place

Quaint waystation at Bhuntar/Kullu

Turn into the short driveway of The Tara Villa from the main NH3 and you are insulated from the scramble of tourists flocking to Kullu/Manali and environs.
Spacious and serene describe The Tara Villa, with its large rooms and lawn bordering their orchard - though you are cautioned that these are look-but-don't-touch fruit trees.
The food and service are just average, but if you are here as a pit stop, how does it matter.
Should you intend going to the Parvati valley, or visit Prashar lake from Kullu side, this may be a better waystation than attempting those excursions from the traffic nightmare that is Manali.
