Jacob’s Inn is a fantastic place to stay for anyone visiting Dublin
I recently stayed at Jacob's Inn in Dublin and had a fantastic experience in multi-bed mixed dorm room. It’s a great choice if you're looking for clean, affordable accommodation with excellent service in the heart of the city.
The hostel is very clean from the rooms to the common areas. The dorms are modern and well-kept, with comfortable beds and individual lockers. Despite being in a busy part of Dublin, the rooms were surprisingly quiet, making it easy to get a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing.
Breakfast buffet was very good, with a range of choices to start your day. I really appreciated the option of having a packed breakfast, which is perfect if you’re heading out early for a tour or exploring the city.
The staff at Jacob’s Inn were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to answer questions, give directions, and even help arrange tours. Their warmth and helpfulness really made the stay even more enjoyable.
The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Dublin. It's within walking distance of all the major attractions and transport links. Plus, having a Lidl supermarket close by was super convenient for picking up snacks.

Lovely hostel, right beside Garda station so nice and save. Facilities are great, food and bar on premises. Only issue was it was very warm in the room at night so people opening the window and it was a little noisy with street sounds. Overall I was very happy with the stay, breakfast and price was great

Really lovely atmosphere at this hostel with many other young solo travellers. I stayed in the female dorms and it felt safe, welcome and clean.
The only issue is the plumbing / water system. The pipes would make strange gurgling sounds throughout the night for no reason and it was quite loud. The shower in my room stopped every 5 seconds and the button was hard to press - however, there are shower facilities in the corridor too and those were a little better.
Overall a good place to stay!

The Ideal Hostel!
An immaculate hostel with such a groovy vibe. Located within central Dublin, it’s a perfect area to base yourself to explore all of what Dublin has to offer!

I had a great time at the hostel , thanks to the ladies at the reception who helped me until i could find a charger that worked for my phone ! Met some cool people and loved the breakfast !
