A B&B from "A Thousand and One Fairy Tales" in the historic center of Bitetto (Bari)

I have traveled far and wide across Italy and also a good part of Europe, but I had never seen a wonderful B&B like "La Mayson di Francy" in Bitetto (Bari) in my life! Located in the historic center of Bitetto, it is very refined, very well looked after and very functional. It is equipped with all the comforts possible and imaginable, and cleanliness and hygiene that would be the envy of 5-star luxury hotels. Antonia, the owner, is infinitely sweet, as well as making sure we didn't miss anything, she pampered us and made our every wish come true. Antonia proved to be a kind, friendly, friendly and professional person, and the B&B "La Mayson di Francy" reflects in every way her desire to do things in the best way. Truly a beautiful and special person, with whom it is impossible not to establish a true friendship. We will definitely return here, this structure and Antonia have really entered our hearts, and above all we know where to send friends and acquaintances if they come to these parts.

Relaxing weekend

Renovated room with attention to the smallest details, very welcoming. Helpful and kind owner. I would say quality/price excellent. Furthermore located in the beautiful historic center of the town. I would recommend it to everyone.

Cute Old-World Experience

This is a cute little B&B nestled in a warren of back alleys in Bitetto. It is a little difficult to find as the driving directions cannot get you exactly where you need to go. Also, the street number listed is #32 but there is no #32 on the street. 34 or 36 Via Giannini will get you there for walking directions. Be sure to get the lock box combo in order to enter the building.
That said, the room was remarkably modern with all the expected amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the toilet was large. There is a mini bar in the room at extremely reasonable prices. There are no exceptional views so the floor you are on doesn't matter. Parking is a short walk away in a public lot for free. The lot can get crowded.
A short walk brings you to centro Bitetto, an old-world city. There are some cafes and restaurants, but they do follow their afternoon siesta and close for a couple of hours. English is not as prevalent as in other areas of Italy, so brush up on your Italian.
Breakfast is a croissant and coffee at a local cafe, mostly the Vespa Cafe but on Sunday it was at the New York Bar. Both are a very short walk away and treat the B&B customers well. The croissants are heavenly.
There is no elevator in the, B&B so be prepared to bring luggage up steps. Room 2 has a larger bed than room 3.

Insieme ad una coppia di amici abbiamo pernottato per caso a Biteto, presso il B&B LA Maison de Francy per una sola notte. Diciamo che siamo rimasti assolutamente entusiasti. La struttura è situata in una posizione strategica a pochi km. da Bari e dai dai principali centri d’interesse. Le camere sono spaziose e confortevoli e soprattutto pulite. Sono arredate in stile moderno e dotate di tutti i comfort necessari compreso un angolo cottura presente nella camera al piano terra. La colazione, inclusa nel prezzo, è stata consumata in un bar vicino alla struttura con pasta e cappuccino… TOP! La proprietaria è stata molto gentile, disponibile e professionale, sempre pronta a dare informazioni e consigli. insomma una persona seria! Non possiamo che consigliare vivamente questo B&B a chiunque voglia trascorrere un soggiorno a Bitetto.
