Silena is Soulful indeed
Silena soulful hotel lives up to its name, 100%. It's the most beautiful, welcoming, relaxing place I've ever been to. The service is spectatular, as are the meals, especially the 5-course dinners. The spa area is huge, and varied, with many secret hisdeouts for those who like peace and quiet. It's on the pistes so you can ski straight into the hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and finally the rooms and living areas are beautifully furbished. I hope to go back soon!

Beautiful hotel but...
Very nice hotel all very nice superb restaurant and polite and kind staff!!!
We chose this hotel because it is adult only, but at check-in we discover that one of the two outdoor pools (the 40-degree one with a beautiful view and with the warmer water as the other is cold) is exclusively for nudist use.
Since it is not specified anywhere on the site nor in the booking phase of this limitation, I do not find it correct to pay for a stay without being able to use this comfort.
I would suggest to put it well HIGHLIGHTED DURING BOOKING AND IN THE DESCRIPTION, or make time slots so you can all use this pool.
This policy is discriminating for those who want to relax without getting naked in the square!!!

siamo molto contenti che Ti sia trovato cosí bene al SILENA! Ci fa sempre piacere sapere che i nostri ospiti si sentano a proprio agio quando arrivano da noi. Per questo motivo troviamo molto importante la Tua recensione. Non abbiamo avuto specificato meglio che la vasca ONSEN sia una zona nudo perché solitamente questo tipo di vasca, cosí come le saune, sono accessibili senza bikini (seguendo la tradizione giapponese).
Apprezziamo il Tuo suggerimento e abbiamo provveduto ad aggiornare il nostro sito web, specificando meglio questo dettaglio, in modo da non creare confusione ai nostri futuri ospiti. Per il momento stiamo proprio provando la Tua proposta: dalle 13:00-16:00 zona bikini - dalle 16:00-19:00 zona senza veli. Grazie per il suggerimento!

Great holiday on the snow
Conveniently located near the ski lifts, less than 100 m on the flat; nice recent structure , quiet and clean spacious rooms, saunas and swimming pools; super welcome on arrival: they quickly arranged suitcases in the room , ski in the ski room and cars in the garage; good breakfast and dinner with excellent raw materials; all the extremely friendly staff, we point out that the restaurant has always been attentive; costs not low but adequate
Improved pool temperature and pancakes/waffles/crêpes that are quality but give the impression of being prepared a little before and then heated at the time of request

grazie mille per la Tua bella recensione. Siamo davvero felici che la Tua vacanza al SILENA sia stata all’altezza delle Tue aspettative.

Le nostre piscine al piano terra, interna ed esterna, hanno solitamente una temperatura di 33 gradi. La nostra vasca sul tetto Onsen ha invece una temperatura di 40 gradi.

Nothing to do with Soulful
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Hotel SILENA due to a disappointing experience with the customer service. We had booked a stay, but had to cancel it due to an exceptionally stressful family situation: Our younger son suffered acutely from severe depression, our eldest son was diagnosed with cancer and had to start chemotherapy immediately. During this emotionally and extremely challenging time we had hoped for understanding and goodwill from the hotel.
Despite our detailed description and request for a solution – be it a reduction in cancellation fees or a postponement of the stay – the hotel ignored our situation and stubbornly referred to the terms of the contract. We were charged around 80% of the total price, which is an additional burden in an already difficult time.
Of course, we understand that hotels have rules and deadlines, but in such exceptional situations we would have expected at least some accommodation or empathy. Instead, we were fobbed off with a lapidary regret.
Service and humanity should be the main focus even in difficult cases. Unfortunately, SILENA has failed all along the line on this point. Disappointing and not recommended.

herzlichen Dank für Deine Bewertung. Hierbei geht es wirklich um ein sehr wichtiges Thema: Stornierungen.
Wir pflegen seit Corona aktuell immer noch sehr lockere Stornierungsbedingungen für ein Ferienhotel: bis zwei Wochen vor Anreise ist eine kostenlose Stornierung möglich.
Krankheitsfälle usw. treten aber erfahrungsgemäss kurzfristig auf. Deshalb empfehlen wir bei Buchungsabschluss eine Reiseversicherung abzuschliessen (sollte man nicht bereits über z.B. die Kreditkarte eine haben). Diese würde dann - wie in Ihrem Fall -die Stornierungskosten übernehmen.
Was uns aber im Zusammenhang mit dieser Bewertung besonders wichtig ist zu betonen: Es ist für uns oberste Priorität, alle Gäste gleich zu behandeln. Wir nehmen uns nicht heraus, die Gründe einer Stornierung in irgendeiner Form zu „bewerten“ (auch wenn uns solche Schicksale nahe gehen) und dann von Fall zu Fall unterschiedlich entscheiden. Wir möchten auch hier korrekt handeln und würden es jenen Gästen gegenüber nicht fair finden, die eine Versicherung abgeschlossen haben, um genau solche Situationen zu vermeiden.
Auch entstehen bei einer Stornierung immer Kosten (auch wenn das für uns nicht der ausschlaggebende Punkt war). Ich darf hier auf einen Instagram Post von Marianne vom Hotel „Der Daberer“ verweisen:
