Price/value is alright, just don't expect the typical services, such as staff showing you to your room etc., which are not provided here.

The hot springs and food are both excellent
The other day, it was December, but it was the hottest day in the country, and the next day, it was a cold winter day. The hot spring on a cold day was the best, and since it was a room with an open-air bath, I was in the bathtub after just 5-6 steps. I don't like to soak in thick water for long periods of time, but perhaps because it was cold, I stayed in the bath for quite a while. I soaked in the bath about 5 times from check-in to check-out.
The dinner plan has too many dishes for elderly people, so I ordered from the menu as usual, with just the right amount of my favorite foods, fresh fish, and other single dishes that were also delicious. The atmosphere of the private room was quiet, and since I ordered in advance after checking in, the food was not delayed, so I was very satisfied. I hardly met any other guests, and I was able to spend a quiet time.
As usual, the hot spring and food were very satisfying at this inn.
I plan to use it again when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
