Room For Improvement
The bathroom has no basic toiletries so you've gotta bring your own. All payments are done the old-school way - cash or direct transfer to the owner. No credit card and Touch n Go e-wallet facilities. These are the downsides.
Hope the owner will look into providing credit card and Touch n Go e-wallet facilities for payments since it's already 2024. And most people are using these payment methods almost everywhere in Malaysia.

Beautiful, large rooms at a reasonable price, but with suspicious bed linen and bathroom
The guesthouse is very beautiful and quite similar to some you might find in Thailand, rather than Malaysia as it comes with its own restaurant serving Thai food with a seating area situated in a kind of garden environment. There are several rooms at the guesthouse located on 2 floors. I stayed in Room number 2 on the ground floor for 2 nights. The door into the guesthouse proper and the electric gates onto the premises are closed at night and other times often so that your door key includes a remote control to open the gates and door.
The room was enormous with white-coloured walls and floor tiles of a similar colour. The room had two external doors: one into the guesthouse and the other to the outside where there was a kind of patio directly outside the door. The room came with a full-size wardrobe containing 2 spare pillows, a small wooden table next to it, a wall-mounted mirror, a TV also mounted on the wall showing a small number of terrestrial channels, a small circular table and 2 deckchairs. The bed was a double bed which was softer than most South-East Asian beds and pillows which were a little too hollow, but placing two together on top of each other overcame this problem. Both the mattress and pillow cushions were rather wrinkly, suggesting they were probably not ironed and may not have even been washed.
There was both a ceiling fan and aircon in the room. The aircon remote control worked in Fahrenheit making it rather hard to tell what temperature it was set to. However, it was efficient enough. There was also free WiFi, although I had great trouble making the password work, but a member of staff managed to do this for me.
The bathroom was very big and came with some body wash and shampoo. There was no toilet paper though and I had to request some on my second day when an excuse was made blaming me for having gone out of my room and hence, the staff couldn't enter. In fact, I stayed in my room for about 1.5 hrs after checking in so that this was a lie. There was also a bar of green soap in the shower which I assume was the previous occupant's soap. In fact, I am not convinced that the room or the bathroom had been cleaned prior to my taking the room as evidenced by yellow marks in the washbasin and wrinkly pillow cases and bed linen as well as no toilet paper and an open bar of soap in the shower area.
The guesthouse staff are difficult to find if you require anything. I had advised the owner I would be checking out at 9am on my final day and he appeared to turn up specially for me. He even knocked on my door as I was a couple of minutes after 9am checking out which I thought was rather rude. He said it was a wake-up call.
I was on the whole pleased with my room, the price and the general environment at the guesthouse, although I was suspicious about whether the room had been cleaned after the previous occupants checked out as I was an unexpected walk-in guest who turned up fairly early in the day. However, given my overall experiences, I can recommend this guesthouse and would stay here again
