A fabulous stay
The room was wonderful, very comfortable beds, impeccable cleanliness. Attention to detail. Well soundproofed hotel, very clean even in common areas. What was very pleasant was the presence of the coffee machine in the room and two bottles of water every day.
Fabulous location to visit the historic center. A pleasure to have stayed at this hotel.

Not worth to come here
There was no hair dryer in the bathroom
Lastly, even though I knew that the room had to be vacated at midday according to the rules, I asked to be able to leave an hour later and they told me no even though I have been a member of the Marriot for many years. I took the room with points and paid for breakfast and I also had lunch here yesterday.
The price for this city are very high and the room was nothing special

Light and Shadow
Pros:
- Nice , though technical reception
- Super Concierge with good tips
- Great location right in the old town
- Good in-room dining
- Upgrade to suite was possible
But , it is not a world-class 5-star hotel :
- Overall the rooms are in need of renovation everything still looks nice but toilet , heating , sofa , everything is a bit run down .
- Service does not go the last step : Minibar wine was filled with water , shoes are not cleaned, the bar is not allowed for children even for a champagne at check in , it is not a service like at Adlon or Mandarin Oriental .
- Fitness very small and stuffy , nobody cares about water or anything like that .

Decline in quality
The hotel is clearly understaffed. Most of the time, there is no one at the door to assist with luggage, provide directions, or offer basic courtesies. Simple gestures like opening car doors or calling a taxi are almost nonexistent - forget about them 90% of the time. A significant portion of the staff are newcomers who are not properly trained, which is obviously an issue stemming from hotel management, not the employees themselves.
One baffling example of this decline is the refusal to lend guests an HDMI cable, even though this is the only way to connect to the in-room TV (wireless connections are not supported, and the TVs lack streaming apps). Similarly, the hotel does not provide phone chargers, so if you forget yours, you're on your own - even the concierge is unable to assist.
Dining is another persistent problem, as noted in many reviews, even those written years ago. Meals are often of subpar quality, and the breakfast options are laughable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The lack of services like a butler, even in suites, is glaring - especially when the main competitor (Europejski) offers butler service in every room. Turndown service is inconsistent - sometimes provided, sometimes not.
The one consistent positive is cleanliness, which has never been an issue.
It’s disheartening that a hotel, considered a landmark of Warsaw, delivers such mediocre service. Unfortunately, despite my Platinum status with the chain, I will be choosing Hotel Europejski for my next stay.
