Perfect night's sleep

Perfect night's sleep. We did a weekend in London, stopped for 1 night. We was greeted by a lovely young lad who was very welcoming, showed us to our room & very helpful throughout our stay. Room is small but it's a 14th Century building so this is what I expected beautiful, cosy & packed with history. Coffee & Tea station with chocolate mint and flavoured croissant each. Shared toilet very clean. We had a shower in our room very clean. The pillows are soo comfy (where did you get these from I need one for home) bed comfy. We was in room 4 We stayed on a Sunday night, pub has music evening which was fine by us but if an early sleeper then you may want ear plus but it was quiet by 9pm and we was asleep by 10pm our normal time so I will not fault this (just a heads up for early sleepers). We had dinner here which is Thai, this was supper yummy, lovely waitress and reasonably priced.
2 min walk to bexley train station (all day parking £6.50) train to London bridge. Perfect location, Easy to get to. Free parking for your stay. WiFi, shower gel, body lotion and perfect size towels provided. Great value for london. Thumbs up from us.
Thank you Kings Head will definitely stay again.

Grotty.....

Small, cramped, very very tired room, with sticky chest of drawers. Cheap, but not cheerful. No breakfast available. On one of the hottest nights of the year, it was hell. On top of all that, someone - must have been a member of staff - was playing a radio outside, in one of the alleys, all night. I tried to shout out to them to turn it down, but they obviously didn't hear me and, from where we were in the building, I couldn't get into the alley in person to tell them to stop. A very uncomfortable night.

Function room at the kings head

We had our celebration in the function room after my fathers funeral here and were looked after very well by the staff at the kings head. They made everything run smoothly for us and it was a perfect location. An informal pub setting in Bexley village, but in a separate area for a private family gathering.

The cheapest hotel I could find in London

So we stayed at the cheapest accommodation we could find and being honest it served our purpose fine , staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and functional with a comfortable bed and nice clean bedding and pillows and it was very peaceful at night, there’s a decent fan for cooling kettle, tea/coffee fresh bottled water and a croissant and chocolate were a nice touch , would I stay here again? Definitely

FILTHY

NEVER HAVE I BEEN PUT IN A ROOM THAT WAS THIS DISGUSTING.
DID ZERO CLEANING AND OLD DIRTY SHEETS. I WILL SAY IF YOUR
TRAVELING FROM THE USA YOU WOULD HAVE A MELT DOWN AND
WOULD THINK YOU WERE IN A HOMELESS DRUG HOUSE.
