Excellent hotel on the beach
Delicious breakfast with wide choice of hot and cold with fresh fruit and cheeses and hams.
Friendly staff. Very clean. We had gorgeous bedroom with large balcony and sun loungers but think this was a premium room. Worth it though. Missing the constant sound of waves.

Gorgeous Venue we will be back
Hotel El Médano is a superb venue with glorious views and high staff standards. The relaxed feel and comfortable rooms make it feel as if your stay is important.
All of the staff from the lovely people who look after our rooms, the breakfast room and bar staff, the "back scene" staff and the friendly and helpful reception staff ( hard to choose who was the best, all reception staff are 100%) made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.
The only downsides were the lack of handrails in the shower, not only the elderly or those with mobility issues would feel a little safer.
The external music, which obviously is not hotel controlled, after a couple of days gets a little frustrating, a lovely addition from some good musicians with varied repetores however those who play the same music around cocktail time every evening do not make for a relaxing feel
