Gorgeous hotel in beautiful surroundings
We even saw a helicopter land and take off in the grounds.
Food was very good and the majority of staff were obliging and friendly.
Swimming pool and sun beds were excellent.
Paying the bill before checkout was a bit of a faff.
Would recommend a stay here as it's in a lovely tranquil position.
You could get a tuk tuk into Kandy if you wanted to have a look around for no more than 1000 rupees.

Cinnamon citadel kandy - keep away!
They did not even offered cool refresher towels.
The bell did not even collected all my luggage.
No one bothered to explain the room convenience.
The bathroom smells of damp.
The shower cubicle floods the bathroom.
When asked for tea spoons, the guy brought wooden stirrers and told me they have done away with spoons!!!!
The telephone operator takes ages to pick up the phone.
They say this is a four star hotel but I would say below 3*
There was a gekko on the bed.
The sofas has black fluff and couple of flies!!!
Trailfinders UK CLASSIFY THIS AS 4* and my experience is otherwise.
The staff service is terrible.
