Highly recommended

The front desk manager took the time ahead of time to listen to our requested choice of unit & reserved exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier. We have already reserved Piney Shores for next year.

A/c set at 72 & couldn't be adjusted. Jacuzzi tub in lodge was old and nasty, bugs came out to play. Water is yellow. No restaurant anymore. Check receipt, got charged double resort fee(i noticed and got it fixed) and 2 ($500) pending charges for our stay and a $115 pending damage charge. Why? Idk.

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM BLOCK HERE

Booked this hotel for our wedding room block because it was recommended by our venue due to their location. It has been hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel as well as the most stressful part of our wedding planing.
They redirect people away from the room block telling them it’s full when it isn’t even at half capacity and quote them a room for a higher price. They then email us saying we are almost to the deadline and not meeting the quota so we will have to pay thousands of dollars to cover the rooms that are not reserved.
Calling and emailing almost gets us nowhere because they take days and days to reply. The sales manager they keep promising will be in contact with us also must not exist because there has been radio silence on that front as well.
Stay at a motel 6 instead, you’ll get better service and be treated like a guest not a nuisance.

Everything was better than expected! We loved our little unit in building 11 - Room 41.
They provided smores at the fire pit on Saturday night and that activity was not very well organized at all. The marshmallows were hard and stale, the graham crackers were crumbly and the staff started late and had no process in place for how to hand out supplies. Other than that, every thing else about our 3 night & 4 day stay was awesome. We plan to return again soon.

VERY DISAPPINTED

It was very disappointed. We were assigned with a cabin unit that has a small kitchen and living room, old & chipped furniture, dirty bathtub, and cockroaches on the dinning table. We stayed one night only but got charged $141.52 cleaning fee (same fee for one week stay). The bathrooms are small and only 1 shower for a 2-bedroom unit that accommodates 6 people. The RCI site shows pictures of nice spacious Presidential suites only, which are very misleading and not providing any disclosure for those cabins.
