While I did not meet the hosts in person, they were quick to respond via text whenever I needed and polite.
My room had a window air conditioner. It was slightly loud. It did not bother me, as it provided white noise to fall asleep. But if someone needed absolute quiet to sleep, it would be a problem.
The pool is only open from dawn until dusk. I arrived after dark due to flight delay, so that was a little disappointing. I assume this to keep people from partying around the pool all night.
There is a local and affordable BBQ place just around the corner. While I did not try any, there are several bars within walking distance. At the time of my visit, there was a pizza place next to the motel. While the motel does not serve breakfast, there is a breakfast/lunch place called the Frog Pond a few doors down.
