My hubby and I checked in for an overnight stay as we were just passing through and ended up staying two nights. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The hotel itself was clean but needed some "freshening up" as it's a little outdated. The pool area was clean and taken care of. The breakfast was okay. Waffles and eggs the first morning, eggs and sausage the second. Bagels, cereal, toast, juice, milk, and muffins were available also. The staff were all very friendly. The only complaint I had was there was no refrigerator in the room. We would definitely stay again.

Not a good stay

We stayed at the property in Okeechobee Days Inn and this is how our rooms looked - major health issues they WERE - very DIRTY we had 4 rooms total - I RECEIVED a disturbing e-mail response from the general manager of that Property Carla Selph trying to push off dealing with this and accusing us of being rude to the staff when we checked in which did not happen -I had my 87 year old Mother with me and there was nothing said to any of the staff except that perhaps your website for that location should be updated It advertised a Tiki Bar opened which it clearly was not OPENED - the pictures I have are extremely BAD pictures of each room and clearly shows the lack of CONCERN of that general manager as well as the staff working there, they obviously never check the rooms

Loved the access to the canal. Lots of birds. Also liked the walk up to the viewing tower. I think this place is a shell of its former self. Don't know how much longer that tower is going to be standing. The room at first looked nice, but the condition was not good. Bed had broken pieces. The pillows fell down into the crack in front of the headboard. The microwave did not work at all. The light in the bathroom was full of greasy dust. Hot water was just warm.

The people were nice and accommodating. The quality of the property was poor. It’s being worked on, but it’s in sad state. We asked for a change of rooms after initial checkin. The fist room fridge was rusted a bottom,we found pet furballs in various places, TV had a constant buzz. We did it feel safe there. When we asked for better room we were moved to the main building. We were okay with new room. It was definitely better, but had several things wrong with it. Microwave and a bedside lamp could not be plugged in or used The bed lamp could not be turned on - no switch - nor a place to plug in- cord wasn’t long enough. The tv had a black line running down picture,the shower ran with a constant humming sound. I felt for the price paid for this room it should have been at least a Fairfield inn. We enjoyed walking around the grounds - also need a little sprucing up. We did enjoy our stay - all the personnel were nice, busy and help

Room was in need of repairs, lights not working outlets no covers ceiling falling down. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
