If you want to be stuck in your bathroom, book this hotel.

I stayed at the hotel by myself for a business trip. In the evening while using the shower, I closed the bathroom door and the door lock fell in. The door did not open again from the inside. After 20 minutes of slamming on the walls and crying out for help, the receptionist finally came in and managed to easily open the bathroom door from the outside. The receptionist responded very sarcastically and unimpressed, simply stating that 'next time don't close your bathroom door' as if it were my own fault. No empathy or hospitality at all. Would not recommend. Before this occurred I'd asked the hotel (1 week in advance) to help arrange a taxi or transport to another location, the lady answering was very unhelpful said it was not possible and gave no alternative solutions. Overal, outdated hotel with tactless staff...

Not quite great

Friendly welcome, spacious room with a tiny bathroom. Nice parking lot. The breakfast was very disappointing for 4 stars. Croissants and eggs were gone, but they were refilled, although it took a while. Toppings were extensive, but of cheap quality. The fruit salad was canned. Missed salmon and fried eggs or scrambled egg. Just a hard-boiled egg. Shame! Furthermore, the toppings were jam and peanut butter from small aluminum deduction containers. It was nice that we were allowed to leave the car on the terrace longer because we left Enkhuizen later.

Decent but old looking

Good location very close to old town. Check in relatively easy. Room is very spacious. Breakfast also provided.
However, I believe hotel used to be great looking (with its 4 stars rating) but seems already past its glory days. Oldish and tired looking. Amenities in room so so and room temperature hard to adjust even with its thermostat and air-con. Iron and ironing board only available outside the room with one set at each floor.
Service at the desk can be improved to make people feel more welcomed and provide help when necessary.
Breakfast spread stayed exactly the same every single day. Unfortunately no warm food.
A decent one to stay but the place could do a round of upgrading.

The Building looks antique but quite nice. Room was spacious but tv has no satellite channels and the window was a little bit rusty; the bathroom has very few soap bags, almost not enough for showering.
The staff was kind, breakfast was included. There is a parking spot for 5€ but with a gate that closes at 22:30 so impossible to leave in the night if emergencies occur.
Position is excellent.

small hotel

centrally located just by the church. bit of a maze in the hotel,
not easy to find your room but big room, with hard bed but place enough. simple furniture and bathroom, clean. basic breakfast and working wifi. reception works till 10:30, small place for drink just by reception. was a busy day in enkhuizen , so the price of 105 euro is on the high side for this hotel.
