If you are looking for a BBB like us, this is a very good choice
We are not divas and are easily satisfied.
We had a room ad inside. So not one like the pictures in the brochure. That didn't matter to us. We wanted to see as much of Montevideo as possible in 5 days and would only be there to sleep. The hotel is cheap, rooms 8/11 (we have seen) were small but big enough and had minor defects (float toilet/shower tap). You can specify what you want to eat the vlgd day for breakfast. The staff is super nice and speaks decent English. Oh yes the location... super cozy neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars that you do not suffer from in the evening. In short, we have stayed there very pleasantly and recommend this hotel if you want to go to Montevideo for the same reason as we do.
ps. If you want to go ‘across’, the ferry service to Buenos Aires is grab him 300m walk.
